Cotton Blossom 2 is a 3 skin kauri sloop buily in 1979 by Ocean Racing Yachts built by Tim Gurr and Peter Sowman for Peter Spencer designed by Bruce Farr as a cruiser/racer.
She was the gun boat in Auckland and in the Pacific, later in Wellington under Brian Gold also held records for the Cook Strait.
She left Wellington in 1987 for Sydney and raced in Melbourne completing several Sydney Hobart races.
Bought by the present owners in 1995 and refitted for charter work both in the Bay of Islands and Vanuata. Has since been raced frequently up the Pacific Islands as well as longer coastal races.
Has been rated IMS, IRC and PHRF currently owned by Cotton Blossom Charters share holders are Doug and Vonnie France.
