“CORSICA CAT” was used in the Mediterranean from new in 2002 and then on delivery to Madagascar the carbon mast was lost overboard in a vicious squall in the Red Sea. The boat was shipped to Reunion Island and then motored to Nose Be in Madagascar. She then did a very limited amount of exclusive charters without her mast. She was laid up for a period and the machinery and electronics were not well maintained. The delivery and refit have been managed by Sea Independent South Africa from Day One.
