Janneau Sun Odyssey 52.2 "Blue Sunshine"

The Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 52.2 Blue Sunshine was launched in 2002, built in 2001. Owned by the same German owner since new and sailed exclusively in the Baltic Sea, she came into new hands in 2021 bound for a circumnavigation. The initial owners kept her in mint condition and all improvements made throughout the years have been done with the best quality in mind. Upgrades since 2021 has complemented the already up to date yacht with a focus on blue water readiness – standing and running rigging, safety, and long-range redundancy. With her classic lines, Blue Sunshine is a reliable yacht on long passages and day sails alike, with a set up for a comfortable life onboard. A full bimini top and sprayhood makes the cockpit ideal for long days at sea. The teak deck contributes to her classic feel and everything onboard is set up for easy sailing. Three electrical winches, double helmets, all lines within reach from cockpit and a classic transom aft for dips in the sea or easy dinghy access. The interior has two spacious cabins aft with double berths, and an owner’s cabin in the front, three heads and a grand salon with galley and navigation station as well as many cabinets and drawers to make storage easy. Her mahogany interior as well as custom built floorboards contribute to a luxurious feel throughout. This is a performance yacht in her prime. She successfully sailed the Atlantic Rally for Cruisers (ARC+) in 2022 and World ARC in 2023-2024.
