Sea Independent are proud to represent this fine yacht from design firm Simonis Voogd.
The Next 56 model was conceived with much input from Mr Americas Cup, Bruno Trouble. She was designed as a very fast cruising boat built in high tech composites able to be easily sailed by shorthanded or just as easily raced hard with a full crew utilising the water ballast system. Her hydraulic keel reduces her draft to just 6 feet and with electric winches and furling headsails she is an amazingly easy boat to cruise.
Aesthetics were of paramount importance during design and every effort has been made to keep her looking clean and uncluttered, often hard to do on a large sailing yacht. Halyards are led below decks, anchoring system folds away into a bow locker, her carbon rig supports a wide boom for easy stowing of the main and many other small details that, together, make this the stunning yacht she is. Yo Mo is built using E-glass laminates and epoxy resins over a vacuum bagged foam core and her interior is completely hand faired and painted.
Her owner has continually maintained and upgraded her since purchase and she now sports new teak decks and cockpit, new awnings, latest B&G 3000 instruments, Spectra watermaker and new batteries. This yacht is seriously offered for sale at a huge reduction from a similar new yacht build price. With the prospect of a two to three year waiting time for a similar boat to be built she is a very attractive option for any buyer wanting a new yacht without the wait and commissioning hassles. Her asking price has recently been adjusted so please contact Sea Independent today for a complete specification and details of her extensive inventory
