"Liberty" is a rare and magnificent Comtesse built at the German Ostseewerft Karl Vertens (Germany) in 1967 and has undergone regular maintenance and several major upgrades over the years, including in 2009 and 2016.
New engines and instrument panels in 2006 have significantly increased the boat's technical value and usability.
Out in the cockpit you will find a large and nice L-salon and table, with plenty of room for 5-7 people. Access to the aft cabin where you will find two separate beds and a bathroom/toilet.
Clear steering position with double seat and good overview in all directions. Neat dashboard.
From the steering position there is access to a pleasant U-saloon on the port side and a spacious longitudinal galley on the starboard side. The galley is bright and nice and has plenty of cupboard and counter space. In the galley you will also find a refrigerator, electric hob and double sink.
Ahead of the midships you will find a sofa/bed on each side of the aisle, with the possibility of establishing 4 beds here. Bathroom with toilet in the bow.
"Liberty" is a fast boat that with its two good Yanmar engines can easily reach 25 knots. The boat weighs about 12,000 kg and lies steady and nice in the sea. High bow against splashes. The boat is normally drafty with its 1.1 m and is stable in the sea with its good width of 4.3 m.
New engines were installed in 2006. These are 2 Yanmar 260 hp diesel engines with new straight shafts and propellers. With these you get "Liberty" up to around 25 knots.
The diesel tanks were replaced in 2009.
